Listowel Writers Week
Shauna Melican and Cathal Keane have entered in the Listowel Writers Week and are awaiting result.
Galway Atlantaquaria
On February 10th Galway Atlantaquaria set up a fish tank in Moveen N.S. The idea behind this project is to show children what can be found in the rock pools around our coastline. The children keep a log of what they observe in the fish tank, when the fish are fed, when the tank is cleaned etc. Some additions have been made to the fish tank by the children, such as a Blenny and a Connemara Sucker Fish.
Sam Ryan is the in-school co-ordinator, Luke Haugh is vice co-ordinator, Shauna Melican, Patricia Foran, Colin Roche are in charge of cleaning the tank and feeding the fish.
